Bryn Mawr

 

Bryn Mawr is truly the quintessential Walk-To-Town community as the downtown covers just over a mile and accessible by walking or biking from any part of the town. Amenities include, but not limited to its own Bryn Mawr Hospital, Bryn Mawr Film Institute, MOMs Organic Market, ACME Market, Public Library, several banking options, pharmacies, numerous restaurants, boutiques, and the new Bryn Mawr Village with clothing stores, La Colombe, Enoteca Tredici Restaurant, Blue Mercury, Athleta, Skirt and much more. Bryn Mawr College, Rosemont College, and Harcum College keep the town lively, but Bryn Mawr is also a very family-friendly community with private schools such as Shipley, Agnes Irwin, and Baldwin and numerous playgrounds including Ashbridge Park with its recently installed playground, tennis courts, and ¾ mile walking trail. Home styles are mostly classic colonials - large and small - with a recent resurgence for new construction single and carriage style homes. Along Montgomery Avenue and closer to downtown, there are numerous condo and apartment complexes.
